YAY!!! TO HONGKONG for the 2nd time!!!
Reached HK international airport at 10plus in the morning, was so hungry that we had to eat at the airport. Not much choices, so we settled for crystal jade's 拉面小笼包. Ordered our favorite 葱油面, 小笼包 and 1 shaoxing chicken. The noodles were too thick and hard for my liking, didn't really fancy the chicken coz of the wine, but the 小笼包 was good!
Took Airport express to Tsing Yi station to Lai king and finally to Yau Ma Tei MTR station.
City view hotel at Waterloo road is just 3 mins walk away from the MTR. Room was unexpectedly small coz it was well recommended by our colleagues, so maybe our expectations were too high. It was clean and decent though.
sidetrack: loved this pair of shoes I bought from ecco! The most expensive pair I bought in my life so far. super comfortable and no blisters at all!
Today was mainly accompanying hubby to walk his comic stores as he had to go to order his comic figurines. Managed to buy a hp cover, small pouch and a hand held fan for ocean park tomorrow!
a zoom in on my HP cover.
Since we were at Causeway Bay, we went into Times Square to take a look. Heard that many tourists come here to shop. As we are not buying any branded stuff, there is nothing much there. Saw an exhibition by a Korean Artist. All these were made of paper! Nice!
Had dinner at Causeway Bay 池记. Sister was raving about it, and as we didn't try it the last time we came, we decided to give it a try.
Hmmm...not to our liking though. I didn't like the noodles, but the shrimp dumplings were good.
Planned to have some FaceTime with baby zq, but there was no free wifi in the room. It costs HKD20 for 24 hrs and it starts counting once you logged in and has to be continuous. Best thing is, it is not stable, so they still recommended us to use it in the lobby. WTH??!! Forget it, waste of money, luckily we didn't pay for it.
